Step 1: Application
Submit your online application with all required documents and information. Our application form is designed to understand your background, interests, and motivation for joining the defence technology sector.

Step 2: Written Test
Appear for our comprehensive written examination that evaluates your knowledge in mathematics, physics, logical reasoning, and aptitude for technology and defence applications.

- English language proficiency
- General knowledge in defence and technology

Step 3: Personal Interview
Participate in a personal interview with our panel of defence experts, faculty members, and industry professionals to assess your communication skills, motivation, and suitability for the program.

Step 4: Selection

Step 5: Registration
Selected candidates complete the registration process by paying fees, submitting final documents, and confirming their admission to begin their journey at NTS.

Eligibility & Requirements
General requirements for admission to various programs at NTS
Undergraduate Programs
- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Minimum 75% aggregate marks in 12th standard
- Qualified in JEE Main or equivalent entrance exam
- Age limit: 17-20 years at the time of admission
- English language proficiency
- Medical fitness certificate
Postgraduate Programs
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering/science field
- Minimum 60% marks in undergraduate program
- Valid GATE score or university entrance test
- 2-3 years work experience (preferred for MBA)
- English proficiency and communication skills
- Research aptitude and analytical thinking
Research Programs (PhD)
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
- UGC NET/CSIR NET or equivalent qualification
- Research proposal in defence/technology domain
- Publications or research experience (preferred)
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Commitment to full-time research
