NPS-NVT Institute of Advanced Technological Studies (NTS) is India’s leading Defence and Advanced Technology University offering world-class education through a student-focused culture of excellence, strategic innovation, technological entrepreneurship, and defence industry alignment. NTS is founded by the renowned NVT Group, established in 1994 by alumni from Carnegie Mellon University, Purdue University, IITs, and Wharton Business School, USA.
Many NTS faculty have international professional experience in defence technology or are alumni of top institutions like DRDO, HAL, ISRO, IITs, and leading global universities. NTS is positioned to graduate skilled defence technology professionals who will work in top defence organizations, research institutions, and advanced technology companies in India and abroad.
NTS is part of the NVT Group, which is a well-established conglomerate with a diverse portfolio of institutions that have significantly contributed to defence certification, aerospace technology, advanced technology education, and quality assurance sectors. The group has certified over 1000+ organizations across aerospace, defence, space, and export-oriented industries in 36+ countries.
About NVT Group
The group’s journey began in 1994 with the establishment of NVT Quality Certification (NVTQC), which has become a reputable and acknowledged name in quality assurance and certification in sectors of Aerospace, Defence, Space and export-oriented industries. NVTQC is accredited by ANAB (USA) and NABCB (India) for aerospace, space, and defence standards.
In 2004, the group expanded its scope by establishing NVT Quality Educational Trust (NVTQET). Under NVTQET, the International School of Management Excellence (ISME) was set up in Bangalore in 2006, emerging as a premier business school in India with over 2100+ graduates working globally.
In 2017, the NVT Group established National Public School Whitefield and National Public School East, followed by National Public School Marathahalli in 2022. The educational institutions of NVT Group serve over 3500+ students. The group also has a real estate vertical focused on luxury villa developments and actively supports education for migrant laborers’ children as part of its CSR initiative.
